How to connect my wallet to Social Mining Hubs with a Mobile?

Introduction

Wallet connection is essential because that is where the incentives will be sent to. However, different Social Mining Hubs are built on various blockchain networks that connect a wallet, which may vary from hub to hub.

On DAOVERSE and Polygon Hub, users can directly connect their wallet with MetaMask. Users must manually input their wallet addresses on other Social Mining hubs, including Avalanche Hub, Kava Hub, and WAX Hub.

How to connect the wallet on DAOVERSE, Polygon Hub, and Telos Hub with a mobile?

Please note, this method only applies to account created with Emails. If your account is created with Google or Twitter, please contact admins to set up a password for your account.

Before connecting your wallet

You must have MetaMask installed on your mobile phone (Andriod or IOS) before connecting your wallet to Social Mining Hubs.

Step 1: Open your MetaMask on Your Mobile and Switch to the Correct Network

Once you open your MetaMask wallet on your mobile, you must select the correct network. If your preferred network is not on the list, you will need to manually add it.

In the example of Polygon Hub, you will need to switch the network to Polygon Mainnet.

Step 2: Go to the MetaMask Browser and go to the preferred Social Mining Hub

Click the "Browser" function on MetaMask and input the website address of the preferred Social Mining Hub.

In the example of Polygon Hub, you will need to input https://community.polygon.technology/

After inputting your credentials, click LOG IN to sign in to your account.

Step 3: Go to your profile page on Social Mining Hub

Once signed in, go to your profile page.

Step 4: Connect Your Wallet

Once you are on your profile page, scroll down to the "Your Wallet" section.

Click Connect to connect your wallet.

Following the steps and your wallet will be connected successfully.
